Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

Prayer to the Prince of Peace

Lord Jesus Christ, You are the Prince of Peace. Grant to my restless heart Your peace, the peace the world cannot give. Calm my fears, quiet my anxieties, and let me rest in the knowledge of Your love, today and always. Amen.

A Prayer for Peace in the World

God of mercy, look upon our troubled world. Turn hearts hardened by anger to forgiveness, and minds set on conflict to understanding. Grant wisdom to leaders, comfort to the suffering, and to all peoples the gift of Your lasting peace. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
